What this scheme actually is
SVEP is a sub-scheme of DAY-NRLM that helps rural households set up small non-farm enterprises. It builds a local cadre of Community Resource Persons who provide business support on the ground, and funds enterprises through a dedicated Community Enterprise Fund. It is not a startup scheme in the technology sense, but for rural micro-enterprise it is the most substantive support available.
Implementing agency: DAY-NRLM

Who can apply
What you get
How to apply, step by step
- 1
Check whether your block is under SVEP
Implementation is block-selected. If your block is not covered, the scheme is not accessible.
- 2
Engage through the SHG and NRLM structure
Access runs through the community institutions, not through a direct government application.
- 3
Apply via svep.nrlm.gov.in
The portal carries the programme details and application route.

Services this usually needs
No consultant can guarantee a sanction — that decision sits with the evaluating committee, bank or incubator. We commit to an honest eligibility view, an application built to the evaluator’s format, filing inside the window and a documented follow-up cadence. That is stated in every engagement letter we sign.
