What this scheme actually is
S&T-PRISM covers the complete value chain in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy and recycling — research, design, development, PoC testing, IPR creation, pilot project and manufacturing. It is a low-competition window with a serious ceiling, and it has two components: startup funding and the establishment of incubation centres in the sector.

Who can apply
What you get
How to apply, step by step
- 1
Map your technology to the sector value chain
Recycling and circular-economy technologies qualify here, which surprises founders who think of this as a mining-only scheme.
- 2
Read the scheme guidelines before drafting
The Ministry of Mines publishes a detailed guidelines document that sets the proposal format and evaluation criteria. Follow it literally.
- 3
Build a prototype-to-productisation plan
The stated test is capability, intent and promise to produce functional prototypes or productise existing technologies. Evidence all three.
- 4
Submit per the guidelines and defend the milestones
Release is milestone-linked, so the milestone definitions are the commercially important part of the proposal.
What we actually do on a S&T-PRISM mandate
Services this usually needs
No consultant can guarantee a sanction — that decision sits with the evaluating committee, bank or incubator. We commit to an honest eligibility view, an application built to the evaluator’s format, filing inside the window and a documented follow-up cadence. That is stated in every engagement letter we sign.
