What this scheme actually is
E-YUVA funds young people to do applied, need-oriented biotech research at E-YUVA Centres hosted inside universities and mentored by BioNEST bio-incubators. It runs two tracks — Innovation Fellows for postgraduates and above, and E-YUVA Fellows for undergraduates. For a student with a genuine idea, it is a paid runway into entrepreneurship.

Who can apply
What you get
How to apply, step by step
- 1
Find your nearest E-YUVA Centre
EYCs are hosted within universities and institutes. Applications are anchored to a centre.
- 2
Apply online during one of the two annual calls
Submissions go through birac.nic.in.
- 3
Present to the Technical Expert Committee
Shortlisted applicants and teams present at their respective EYC with a BIRAC nominee present.
- 4
Convert the fellowship into a company
The strongest E-YUVA outcomes end with an incorporated startup and a BIG application. Plan for that from month one.

Services this usually needs
No consultant can guarantee a sanction — that decision sits with the evaluating committee, bank or incubator. We commit to an honest eligibility view, an application built to the evaluator’s format, filing inside the window and a documented follow-up cadence. That is stated in every engagement letter we sign.
